The eSUN PETG is a 3D printing filament that combines the ease of printing of PLA with the toughness of ABS, making it a versatile choice for consumer and industrial applications. It offers excellent weather resistance (UV, water, and heat), making it suitable for outdoor use while retaining color without fading. It features high toughness and impact resistance similar to ABS, with strong layer adhesion and a smooth, naturally glossy finish with minimal visible layer lines. It requires no heated enclosure and is free from warping or cracking. It comes in a 1.75 mm diameter and 1 kg net weight per spool, with a recommended extruder temperature of 240–260 °C, bed temperature of 75–90 °C, printing speed under 150 mm/s, and fan speed of 100%. It is recommended to dry at 60 °C for over 8 hours before use to prevent stringing and oozing. It is available in a wide range of solid and translucent colors (over 30), including Olive Green, Fire Engine Red, Translucent Blue, Light Green, and more. Mechanical properties include tensile strength (XY) of 34.77 MPa, elongation at break (XY) of 5.15%, and IZOD impact strength (XY) of 4.86 kJ/m².
